These are the release notes for Sendent v3.1.4. Some features are only available in specific Sendent plans. A feature is always available if you have an upgrade of that specific plan. The Basic features for example, are always available in Professional and Premium.

Nextcloud Talk invites

As of Sendent v3.1.4 we are happy to announce the opportunity for easily inviting people to your own Nextcloud Outlook instance to offer even more integration with Nextcloud. With Nextcloud Talk you can have online meetings and even do screensharing. Whenever you create an appointment in Outlook, we now included a Nextcloud Talk button in the Outlook ribbon to easily invite your recipients to a Nextcloud Talk conversation.

 

The recipients of the invitation can access the conversation by clicking the link in the appointment body (anonymous). In case the recipients are existing within your Nextcloud instance they will automatically be assigned to the conversation. 

 


By default, the link is not password protected but you can ask (non-mandatory) for the composer of the email to password protect the Nextcloud Talk conversation. This can be achieved through the settings menu (client - only) or through our Nextcloud server app.  



Whenever the composer wants to create a Nextcloud Talk conversation they get prompted with the following dialog.



Improvements

  • Simple MAPI support. As of now you can directly share files from, for example, Microsoft Excel. In previous versions of Sendent we did not always intercept attachments when a file was directly shared via, for example, Microsoft Excel.

Bugfixes

  1. Webdav explorer now properly displays the modification dates again.
  2. Activity tracker is now compatible with Nextcloud 21.
  3. Activity tracker now correctly displays if there has been a download on the folder or child-items.
  4. Activity tracker it's information bar now shows the correct theming.
  5. Small branding fix in case a network error occurs in Sendent.
  6. An issue has been resolved that only impacted the free - version of Sendent. This generated a error whenever you tried to reply inline.
  7. Advanced Theming now properly initializes at first time start-up again.
  8. Fixed general errors in theming.
