1. Sendent Sync consent flow

The Sendent Sync app incorporates a consent flow to ensure secure and authorized access to calendars, contacts, tasks, and email. This section outlines the step-by-step process for granting consent within the Nextcloud interface.

 

1.1. Accessing the consent flow.

The consent flow can be accessed, depending on how it is configured from 3 points:

  1. First time opening the Nextcloud Calendar, Contacts or Tasks app.
  2. Given as a notification within Nextcloud.
  3. You can manually access the page through going to your personal "settings" and accessing the "Sendent Sync" menu item.


1.2. Initiate Consent Flow

If accessing the consent flow from one of the above 3 entry points, you will be shown with the following step. This gives a short description on what will be happening.

 

Click on 'Start consent flow' to proceed.

 

1.3. Grant Consent for Access

Users are required to provide consent to enable access to calendars, contacts, tasks, and other relevant data.

Click on 'Give access' to grant the necessary permisions.


1.4. (Optionally) Help setting up email with Nextcloud Mail. 

Optionally, the administrator may choose to help you setup Nextcloud Mail within your Nextcloud instance.


Click on 'Finish' to be redirected to the Nextcloud Mail app.
