Installation 32- or 64-bit version

You have to download the version according to your Outlook installation. To determine which version you need, open Outlook and then go to File in your Outlook Ribbon. Then go to Office account and click on the About Outlook button. Your version will now be displayed.

Depending on your bit version you need to download and install the appropriate installation file:

• 32-bits --> Setup_Version_x84.msi 

• 64-bits --> Setup_Version_x64.msi

Installation

Once you have found the appropriate installation you can start with your installation. Just follow the instructions from our Installer.

In one of the steps, it is possible to set a default URL for your Nextcloud server. This is an optional step and is not mandatory. Setting a default URL is especially convenient when you have multiple clients using the same Nextcloud server.

If you fill in a URL in this step, it won’t be possible for the user to logout directly in their Outlook settings screen in the future.

First login

No matter the chosen action in the previous step the user has to do a one-time login with their account so Sendent can be connected to the Nextcloud server. 

If the administrator hasn’t set a default URL during the installation, the user can logout and connect with a different account if needed. If a default URL has been set, the user won’t be able to Logout and change its account.                                                                                             Setting server URL example
